For 40 years, the factory in Bregaglia Valley has been refining Alpine raw materials into high-quality specialities for personal hygiene. Commitment and craftsmanship are combined in a respectful approach to the mountain world.
This exhibition, the "Artigianale di Bregaglia", is perhaps unique in its kind and structure. It has been set up on a voluntary, unrestricted basis.
Without commercial farming, the valley is also virtually pesticide-free. That is why our bees feel especially well here and produce healty honey that builds up and strengthens.
The chestnut grows on the southern slopes of the Valley in beautiful groves. Here in Bregaglia Valley, chestnuts have always played a major role as a staple food, but they have also been refined in many ways. Here is a list of some typical chestnut prdoducts: Pasta, cake, cream, flour and dried chestnuts, our purest natural product.
Cheese from the Bregaglia Valley is not only healthy, also tasty! This is ensured by the many different herbs and grasses that our goats and cows enjoy on the pastures. Whether on the alpine pastures in summer or in the valley in winter, the animals are kept in a manner appropriate to their species.
