The chestnut grove provides an important ecological niche for some animal and plant species.
On the excursion with gamekeeper Renato Roganti, we learn which animals can only be found here and gain an insight into the special features of the chestnut groves.

Meeting point At the Plazza postbus stop, 2 km from Soglio (on the Promontogno-Soglio line). There is no car park in Plazza. Please come on foot or by post bus.
End of the tour At the Castasegna Vecchia Dogana postbus stop
