Location: Borgonovo & Schoolhouse Samarovan, Stampa

The whole of Bregaglia is celebrating the opening of the Giacometti theme trail today. Everyone is cordially invited! The event takes place in all weathers.

The Sentiero Giacometti, which connects Borgonovo, Coltura and Stampa, leads to a number of significant places, such as the homes of the artist families and the studios, the children's playgrounds and the school buildings, the sites of hundreds of works of art, the churches with Augusto's works and the cemetery where all the personalities of the Giacometti family have found their final resting place.

Programme for Easter Sunday 31.03.2024
2.15 pm Visit to some of the "Giacometti" houses in Borgonovo. Meeting point at the PostBus stop Borgonovo Villaggio. Afterwards, hike to Stampa, approx. 1 km. Max 30 people.

15.45 Official opening of the Sentiero Giacometti at the Samarovan school in Stampa with Barbara Gabrielli (Graubünden Office for Culture), Jon Bischoff (Comune di Bregaglia), Marco Giacometti (Centro Giacometti)

16.30 "Tredicino, the thirteenth son", from the book Engadiner Märchen by Gian Bundi, illustrated by Giovanni Giacometti, with Piera Gianotti and Emanuel Rosenberg (Festival di Teatro)
