Exhibition at Maloja Kulm Hotel

Winter exhibition
 

On the occasion of the exhibition 'The Colour and I - Augusto Giacometti and Katharina Lichtner - An Encounter' at the Centro Giacometti in Stampa in summer 2022, the idea arose to exhibit works by the painter and draughtswoman Katharina Lichtner in the Maloja Kulm.
Even if the sketched free play of colours seems to be detached from any exterior - a play of colours parallel to the external world - the viewer can still look for the concrete in the details. Like veils, the paint covers the empty canvas, like mist over a lake, on the horizon lines like slopes rising into nothingness - reflection, the lake.

The exhibition started on 16 December 2022 and runs until the end of the 2023 winter season.
